Celebration of life for Brother Joseph Freeman
As we celebrate the home going of our Brother, Mr. Joseph Freeman, Let us not forget the love and memories he left with us. Brother Joseph Freeman was born on Feb 12, 1937 in Blakely, Ga. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Hilton, Ga.
Brother Joseph retired from Georgia Tubing in Cedar Springs, Ga. He was a Bold Soldier until his health failed him. He resided at West Side Terrace and Rehabilitation, Dothan Ala.
Brother Freeman was married to the late Gwendolyn R. Freeman for over 50 years. To this union was born –10– children. Two preceded him in death, Ronald Freeman and Martice McSwain. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a caring Grandfather.
On January 30, 2019, he answered the voice of the Lord. “ Then the flood gates of Heaven opened and he was welcomed into Heaven by the Angels.”
He leaves to cherish his memory –8– Children: Alease (Jerry) Daniels of Warner Robins, Ga., Miles (Nadine) Freeman, Dothan, Ala., Oren (Daphne) Freeman, Frederick, Md., Frederick Freeman, Dothan, Ala., Yolanda (Kenneth) Floyd, Dothan, Ala., Shandra McKellar of Montezuma, Ga. And Broderick Freeman of Hilton, Ga.
He also had –18 -Grand Children - 9- Great Grand children and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends, and a Special roommate at West Side Terrace and Rehabilitation, Mr. Buck Perkins.
