The Profile of Life

The late Katherine Clyde was born on January 3, 1924 in Donalsonville, Ga.  Her parents, who preceded her in death were the late Walter Bryant and Vigerline Bryant.  her parents were originally from Donalsonville, Ga.

Katherine attended school in St. John.  She relocated to Hallandale, Fl.  She was a member of St. John AME at an early age.  Then join Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church until moving to Hallandale, Fl. where she joined Faith Tabernacle Christian Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Arthur C. Lowe.

She was married to the late Johnny Clyde. Eight siblings preceded her in death: Bernice Hobbs, Emma Bryant, Carrie Gunn, Octavia Christian, Pearlie Jones, Earnest Bryant, Leonard Bryant and Walter Bryant, Jr.

Three children preceded her death, William Bryant, Ralph Elijah, and Earl Hobbs. Six grand children preceded her in death, William, Sywonder, Cyretta Graham, Walter, Elena Freeman, and Katrina Hobbs.

She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters: Ella Freeman (Walter), Betty Graham (William). A host of grands, great grands, nieces, nephews and friends
