Obituary for Mr. Curtis Lindsey, Sr.

On February 1, 1956, Curtis Lindsey, Sr. was born to the late Harry Lindsey, Sr. and the late Bertha Lindsey.  On February 13, 2021, Curtis departed this life to be with the Lord.

                 He was a faithful member of Arms of Faith Baptist Church where he served as the Vice President on

the Usher Board.  Curtis worked for Damascus Peanut Company since 1987 until his health failed.

Curtis had a special love for his 5 sons, Brad Dean Early proceeded him in death in 1975.  He leaves to cherish his special wife of 45 years, Doris Lindsey. Sons: Curtis Lindsey (Sharon), Minister Anthony Early ( Martha ), Eddie George (Victoria ), Jartavious Jones (Lett),

Five Sisters: Barbara Tolbert ( Loyless ), Cynthia Glenn (Daniel), Emmette Lindsey (Bernadette), Jackie Lindsey (Carolyn), Michelle Lindsey (Edward), whom he cherished so dearly, and Ella Holmes (Wayne) Freddie Mae Lindsey, preceeded him in death.

A host of grands, great-grands, nieces, and nephews whom he cherished dearly. Sisters –in-law: Lula Mae Glenn (Daniel), Rena Mae Williams, Gloria Thomas, Mary Wimbush, RuPearl Sharpe (Ricky), Catherine Stevens, Barbra Cox. And Pinkie Pankson.

Brothers-in-law:  Clearance Stevens (Jackie), Joe Lester, Robert Early and Berry Early.  A very special thank you to Latoya Lindsey, his niece for Translating his well being due to no visitation in the hospital.
