Elizabeth (Troupe) Hightower

Elizabeth Hightower—a native of Blakely, Georgia.  Sister Elizabeth “Liz” Hightower was born to the late Eloise Troupe and the  late Willie James Troupe on May 15, 1959.

Liz accepted Christ at an early age and came into the Truth and became a Jehovah's Witness in her adult years. She attended school in Early County and college in Atlanta, Georgia. Liz returned to Blakely and fell in love with Eddie C. Hightower. They were  united in Holy Matrimony on March 22, 1984. Afterward, Liz worked as the manager of Hardee’s for many years.

Sister Elizabeth Hightower departed this early life  on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by one sister (Shirley Robinson) and one son Travis Hightower.

Liz leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Eddie (Clause) Hightower of Blakely, four children: Kenya Anderson, one son-in-law, Gregory Anderson of Blakely, Freddie Hightower of Albany, Georgia, D'Asia Davis and Darneisha Hightower of Blakely, Georgia.  Two sisters: Willene Taylor, (Clarence) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Majorie Byrne of Atlantis Florida, five Brothers-in-law: Jimmy (Joann) Hightower, Hartford, Ct., Dennis (Dawn) Hightower, New York, Jerry Hightower, Blakely, Ga., Billy Hightower, Damascus, Ga., and Michael Hightower, Blakely, Ga., Four sisters-in-law: Vonell Virgin, Blakely, Ga. Bessie Reed, St Petersburg, FL., Lois Hightower, Atlanta, Ga. Patricia Hightower, St. Petersburg, Fl., and a Mother-in-law Mary Lois Hightower, Blakely, Ga.

Liz leaves behind a very special niece, Lynette (Tyrone ) Williams of Hartford, Ct.
