On July 9, 1960, the late Harry Lindsey, Sr. and the late Bertha Lindsey, gave birth to Freddie Mae Lindsey. On January 27, 2019, Freddie Mae departed this life to be with God.
She was a member of Arms of Faith Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. She attended Early County Schools and was a part of the Class of 1980. Freddie Mae worked in the dry cleaning business for many years until her health failed her.
Freddie Mae had a special love for her five sons. Her oldest son, Tracy Lindsey, proceeded her in death in 2017.
Memories will forever be cherished by those Freddie Mae leaves behind: four sons -Tyrone Lindsey, Sr., Dexter Lindsey, Dewayne Lindsey, and Brad Lindsey. Two daughters in love- DeWana Fields and Joyce George Lindsey. 17 grandchildren: Ti’Geronika Lindsey, Connor Weaver, Tyrone Lindsey, Jr., Tekenia McClendon, Kennedi Lindsey, Caden Myles, Caleb Myles, Zy’Breasia Lindsey, DeAsia Lindsey, Dekaevon Lindsey, DeZaria McClendon, Brayden McClendon, D’Ziyah Reed, Branya Lindsey, Brai’cyn Lindsey, Brooklyn Lindsey, and Carsten Williams.
Five sisters and four brothers- Earlene Lindsey, Harry Lindsey, Jr., Curtis Lindsey (Doris), Barbara Tolbert (Loyless), Cynthia Glenn (Daniel), Emmette Lindsey (Bernadette), Jackie Lindsey (Carolyn), Michelle Lindsey (Edward), and Ella Holmes (Wayne). A special friend, Terry Mckinnie.
Freddie Mae shared a special bond with nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and friends who loved her dearly.
