Obituary for Jawanis Edward Rogers
Jawanis Edward Rogers was born on September 22, 1980 in Blakely, Ga. To Patricia Owens and Louie Edward Rogers. He gave his life to Christ at an early age joining Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Jawanis attended Early County High School, graduating with the class of 1999.
Jawanis entered the workforce shortly after graduating until he was involved in a car accident leaving him paralyzed. Even this didn't stop him from being the best dad he could to his boys molding them into the young men he always wanted them to be.
Jawanis departed his earthly life on September 3, 2021 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan Alabama.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Doris L. Owens, J.B. Owens and James Rogers; 2 aunts Eddie Jean Humphrey and Gloria Ann Owens.
Those left to cherish his loving memories are his sons Jontavius Rogers (Mackenzie), Cam’ron Rogers, Jacovi Rogers and lifelong companion Tekoa Rogers. Two loving grandchildren, Jonah Rogers and Emmerie Rogers. His parents Patricia Ann Owens and Louie Edward Rogers and Grandmother Juanita Rainge.
His siblings: Edward Smith (Kaleo), Louie Rogers and Sabrina Rogers. Also a host of nieces, nephews.
