Obituary for Mrs. Mary L. Williams

On Thursday, June 25, 2020, Mary Lee Williams passed away at the age of 87 years old. She was the daughter of the late Charlie M. Williams and Retha Mae (Amos) Williams.

Mary was born in Early County, Georgia, May 6, 1933. At an early age she joined the church and eventually found her home at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother that would give her last. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She will be forever remembered by her children Betty Kegler (Willie J.), Blakely, Georgia and Willie Jean Gilbert (Jeffery), Valdosta, Georgia.

Her son, Willie James Williams, preceded her in death. She will also be remembered by her brothers, Eddie Ralph Williams (Annie Belle) and Freddie Lee Williams (both of Blakely, Georgia) as well as one sister-in-law, Curley Mae Williams (Donalsonville, Georgia).

Three siblings preceded her in death, Charlie M. Williams, Jr. (Curley Mae), Martha L. Glover, and Willie Thomas Grace. She leaves to mourn twelve grandchildren, many great-grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
