Obituary for Mr. Derrice Hutchins

On Friday July 8, 2022, our most high God sent his angels to remove from this life the soul of our beloved Derrice “Dek” Hutchins..  Derrice was born September 7, 1977, to Willie Vera Hutchins and the late Willie C. Lindsey.

He attended the public school system in Early County. He was a   graduate of the class of 1996. He was employed with Crawford Tree Surgeons until he became ill.

His Maternal grandparents were Flossie M Thornton-Hutchins and Lorene Hutchins. Paternal grandparents were Greigg Lindsey and Annie Mae Lindsey. Three brothers Johnny (Hooker) Lindsey, Charles E. Lindsey, Ronald Hutchins, Larry Gilbert. One sister Patricia A. Booker. All whom preceded him in death.

  He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Willie Hutchins of Blakely, GA. His Stepmother Barbara Lindsey. His Sons Jaylen Hutchins of Akron, Ohio and Desmond Rashod Tinson of Blakely, GA. Gregory Hutchins, Earl Boozer of Blakely, GA. Clifford Lindsey (Linda) of Austin, TX. Three sisters Takila Henderson (Torris) of Blakely, GA, Pinkie Smith of Ft. Pierce FL and Eva Troupe of Miami, FL. 

He also leaves in sorrow a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He also leaves an incredibly special Aunt Ossie Hutchins.
