Mr. Isiah Williams, Jr.

Reflection of Life

Isiah Williams, Jr. departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his home in Blakely, Ga, at the age of 72.  He was born on April 13, 1949 to the late Sarah Geneva Howard-Williams and the late Isiah Williams, Sr. in Early County, Jakin, Ga. Isiah was one of ten children.  Isiah was educated at Kessler Elementary school up to the Ninth grade, when he withdrew in order to help the family with farm work.

In 1968, at the age of 19. Isiah was enlisted into the United States Marine Corp, stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Francisco, California. Isiah was promoted to Private First Class in April of 1969.  He served this country in the Vietnam Wa. He was honorably discharged in  1971,and returned home to Blakely, Ga. where he worked on the farm.

Isiah is preceded in death by his father, Isiah Williams, Sr., his Mother Sarah Williams, his siblings: Erodia (Robert), Evelyn, Doris (Billy), Thomas Gregory (Jurdia), James Timothy and Percy.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three siblings: Margaret Pearl, Moses ( Sonny ) and Willodean “Dean”; a host of nieces, Nephews, and cousins and other relatives and beloved friends who will miss him dearly.
