Mr. Leroy Sewell

Obituary

Leroy Sewell was born March 26,1939 in Blakely, Ga. To the late Edith Mae and Joseph Sewell. He gave his life  to Christ. He joined Friendship Baptist Church. Leroy attended Washington High School graduating with his class of 1958.

Leroy was a Master Mason, He was a former member of Star Light Lodge #95 of Blakely, Ga. where he held the office of Lodge Treasury.

Leroy departed his  life on July 28, 2022 at Early Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edith Mae Sewell and father Joseph Sewell, his sisters: Doris L. Owens, Elaine Sewell, Brothers: James L. Sewell, Billy Sewell, J.C. Sewell, Tommy Sewell and Coleman Sewell and his beloved partner in life Johnnie Mae Thornton.

Those left behind to cherish his memories, are his sisters: Anna Sewell, Glenda Sewell-Fluker, Linda Sewell-Pinkney and his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
