Gloria Jackson was born to the late Willie J. Sparks and Mattie Louise Sparks-Trice on November 21, 1953 in Blakely, Georgia
Gloria was a wife, a Daughter, a Mother, a Grandmother, a Sister, an Aunt, a Cousin, a Sister—in-law and friend who had the kindest heart and gave of herself freely. She labored for many years at the Fountain View Center.
She will long be remembered for her love of God and family. Gloria departed her earthly life on November 29, 2021 at Emory Decatur Hospital. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Isaac, Perry, Dunny, and Bishop Sparks.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her beloved husband of 28years, Robert Jackson, Jr.; Two daughters: Frances Hutchins of Blakely, Ga. and Yulonda Hutchins of Atlanta, Ga. One son, Williams Hutchins of Blakely, Ga., and step-daughter, Miracle Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.
Nine grandchildren: Eldavon Williams, Jr., Travis Jr., Beyondre, Nakiya, Amarion (who preceded her in death), Saniiyah, Joziah, and Braysen. She also has Four sisters: Mary Patterson, Coco Beach, Fla., Catherine Griffin, Shirley and Pamela ( Jerome ) Sparks all of Blakely, Ga.
Seven brothers: Ronnie, Horace, David Sparks all of Blakely, Ga. Paul ( Mary Ann ) Sparks of West Palm Beach, Fl. Larry (Valerie ) Sparks of New Hampshire, John Sparks of Tampa, Fl., and Charles ( Brooke Cole ) Sparks of Tallahassee, Florida.
