Obituary

A time to Be Born: Ecclesiastes 3:2 ... Mother Lizzie Green Anderson, was born in Damascus, Early County, Georgia on Tuesday,

November 10, 1925.  She was the first born child of two children, to the late Mrs. Lucy Green and Mr. Paul Green.

A time to Serve: Revelation 14:17 ... At an early age she found Christ and became a member of the church her parents attended. Upon marriage to her husband, she moved her membership to Rosinvick Missionary Baptist Church, under the then Pastor, Rev. Cleveland Sanders.  She was a faithful and dedicated member until the failing of her health.  She was honored to humbly serve on the Usher's Ministry, the Mother's Board, as she was named Mother of the church.

 Mother Anderson was a seasoned and experienced cook; she along with her husband operated a Restaurant,located on Church Street, in Blakely.  Her "Soul Food ; along with her homemade cakes and pies were the best.  She was an inspiration and a blessing to many who needed help in reaching the needed contacts to get help with their needs - such as transportation, medical, housing, food, clothing; and at times, also being of financial assistance to those in need.  She loved it and felt very fulfilled when her food was eaten, enjoyed receiving rave reviews from customers and family.

A time to Cherish: I Corinthians 8:3 ... She was married to Mr. John Henry Anderson, and from that union three children were born - Samuel Cleve Anderson; Horace Lee Anderson and Virginia Anderson Davis.  She and her husband also parented a niece, Lula Mae for a short while; they also parented and raised a nephew, Joe Grace, as their own

Time to Die: Ecclesiastes 3:2 ... On Saturday, January 2, 2022. Mother Anderson heeded a final call of patience, suffering, and endurance, that her soul may rest in peace.  God looked out on the battlefield and saw his soldier who had labored hard and called her to receive her reward.  She was preceded in transition by her p arents: Mr. Paul Green and Mrs. Lucy Green; her husband Deacon John Henry Anderson: Sons: Samuel "SC" Anderson, Sr., Horace Anderson; son-in-law, Charles Davis; and brother, Bennie Green. A granddaughter, Kakelia Wiggins. Also, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

A Time to Mourn: Ecclesiastes 3:4 ... Mother Anderson leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Virginia Anderson Davis - Children: Charles Davis, Jr. Brenda Davis, Aisha Davis; Grands: FerrivenCorbitt, KelVon Cooper, Kanye Cooper, Khaza Often, Samuel Anderson, Sr. (D) - Daughter -in-law: Helen; Sons: Samuel Anderson, Jr. and Dexter Anderson; Grands: JLyn Garrett and Keshia Smith; Great Grandchild - Peyton Smith. Horace Anderson (D) - wife, Mrs. Hester Anderson, Cuthbert, Ga. Grands: Shaniya Lee, Anquaniya Lee and Jatravion Wiggins, all of Blakely, Georgia. Stepsons: Anthony Scott, Dexter Harden; Stepdaughter: Norma Harden. Step-grandchildren: Damon Scott, Kayla, Kendraand Katrice Maddox; Kkylee, Kyrel, Jaden and Neal Harden; Latoya Daniels.
