A time to be born~ There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens and on October 25, 1963 a beautiful soul, Priscilla Ann Hightower Epps was entrusted to the late Johnny Will and Helen Hightower to love and care for on this side of Heaven.
A time to die ~ On February 7, 2022 God in his infinite wisdom and love reached down and brought her back into His arms for eternal rest.
A time to build ~ At an early age, Priscilla joined Zion Watch A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully. She would travel near and far building her foundation in Christ. Priscilla graduated from Early County High School in 1981. Always a go-getter, she jumped into the workforce feet first making a life for herself. Throughout her work history, she worked several jobs, making life-long friends along the way.
A time to embrace ~ In 1988, she met the love of her life Cedric Epps and they would be joined in holy matrimony on July 1, 1995. On September 20, 2001 she would birth her greatest gift ; her son Jordan whom she adored. Although she had many titles~daughter, sister, aunt and friend her greatest titles were wife and mother.
A time to mourn~ In addition to her parents Johnny Will and Helen Hightower, Priscilla was also preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline Hightower Foster. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 26 years Cedric Epps; her son Jordan Epps, a step-daughter Lateshia Townsend, two step grandsons Zi’kee Townsend and Jaylen Beauplan; brothers: Johnny D. Hightower (Juanice), Anthony Hightower and Phillip Hightower (Shemeka). Sisters in law: Amelia Hutchins (Perry), Alicia Epps, and Monica Wright (Eugene). A loving mother-in-law, Trudie Ceasar whom she talked with and visited everyday. Her very special friends : Shamtan Booker, Priscilla Ofton, Veronica Glenn Turner, Rose Gipson, Felisha Curl, Bruce Green, Sandy Hall, Chyvonne Flowers, Karlicia Rogers, Sylvia Lyles and Jennifer Lee who became her driver and confidante until the end and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
