Reflection of Life

           Murry Anderson was born May 12,1935 to Jim Anderson and Pearl Williams Anderson in Blakely, Ga.  Both parents preceded him in death.  He departed this life Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at South East Medical Center, Dothan, Ala.  He was a graduate of Washington High School.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Doris Montgomery, and divorced years later.  From that union, they had one son,  Gregory Anderson and one daughter in-law, Kenya Anderson of Blakely, Ga.  He’s also survived by one daughter, Janice (Rod) White and two grandsons: Earl Braxton and Roderick White of Titusville, Fl.

He was a faithful and loyal servant of St. Maryland Missionary Baptist Church, where he also served as a respected Deacon.  He was a member of the Masons Starlight Masonic Lodge No. 95.  He joined the Masons on August 20, 1985, where he held the office of Treasurer.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Jim Anderson, Lewis Anderson,  Sammy Anderson, and Grady Anderson. Sisters: Petronia Knight, and Fluellen Anderson George.

He is survived by one sister, Flossie (Robert) Williams of Hallendale, Fl.  He is also survived by one sister-in-law, Tommie Lee Anderson of Blakely, Ga, Two step-sons: Wayne Montgomery and Dennis Montgomery, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
